Anti-Aging Food Pyramid

First, at the base of the anti-aging food pyramid, you need to make sure that you are drinking pure filtered water every day. This means making sure you are getting your eight glasses and then some. Remember the more water you drink, the better you will feel.
In addition to that water, make sure you are taking a high quality multivitamin daily. Depending on your body’s needs, additional supplements and vitamins can help boost nutrients that might be missing from another part of your diet. Antioxidants, for example, protect your body from harmful free radicals that can break down cells and lend to the aging process.
On a daily basis, make sure you are eating low glycemic index whole fruits, like bananas and blueberries, and leafy green vegetables that are grown above ground, like spinach and kale. Work to include complex carbs like whole grain cereals and grains into your diet daily and do not forget to eat nuts and legumes like beans, as much as possible.
Also, eat organic eggs daily and take note of their appearance. The brighter yellow the yolk, the healthier the diet the chicken was fed, which means a healthier you. In addition to this, use olive oil for cooking and avoid vegetable oils or peanut oils, which can contain higher fat content.
Twice per week eat deep sea cold water fish and free range poultry. Chicken is pure protein and fish are full of omega 3′s which help your body with cellular regeneration.
Finally, in order to complete a balanced anti-aging diet, allow yourself a splurge once a week, after all, your body is going to crave red meat and sweets. However, make sure that the meat is very lean and eat something sweet that is good for you, like dark chocolate which is full of antioxidants.
